UCSF’s historic Parnassus Heights campus is undergoing a visionary 30-year transformation to revolutionize health care, research, and education. The first phase of this initiative features two new cornerstone facilities: the Barbara and Gerson Bakar Research and Academic Building (BRAB) and the UCSF Health Helen Diller Hospital, as well as improved campus connectivity and green spaces.
This ambitious revitalization extends beyond buildings to include an integrated green corridor connecting Golden Gate Park to the Parnassus Campus and Mount Sutro Open Space Reserve. These accessible, healing spaces will strengthen our historic connection to San Francisco, serving patients and our neighborhood community for generations to come.
