Honorary and Memorial Gifts
Whether you wish to recognize a UCSF provider or remember a loved one, you have numerous options for your tribute donation.
Make your tribute meaningful with a gift to UCSF. Send your thanks to a UCSF doctor or nurse, celebrate a special occasion, or honor the memory of a former classmate while supporting our missions of care, education, and research.
Make a gift through this website
Visit our home page and select a fund to support. You may choose from more than 500 giving areas, or write-in your preferred giving area. We will send notification of your gift to the honoree or their family member by email, mail, or both. You also have the option of adding a customized message.
Send an illustrated card
Visit our tribute cards page and select from five beautiful card designs. We will send the card to the honoree or their family member by email, mail, or both. Choose from our 10 most popular giving areas, or write-in your preferred giving area. You also have the option of adding a customized message.
Set up an honorary or memorial fundraiser
Visit together.ucsf.edu to explore your options and get started. Set a goal and invite people you know to make gifts in honor of a friend or loved one.
For gifts in lieu of flowers
If you plan to direct family and friends to support UCSF in memory of your loved one, please contact us at gifthelp@ucsf.edu or (415) 476-3952, so we can notify you of gifts received.
To give by mail
Send us your contact information, the honoree’s first and last name, and the email and/or mailing address where we can send notification of your tribute. Please note that notification messages do not include the amount of your gift. Mail your gift instructions and a check payable to UCSF Foundation to:
